Motion Physio COVID-19 statement

For many of our clients video consultations will continue to be the most appropriate physiotherapy appointment choice. However, we acknowledge some injuries may require a face to face appointment, we are therefore offering face to face appointments, in accordance with Public Health England’s latest advice. All our physiotherapists carry out COVID testing twice weekly, and they have all received their first COVID vaccinations.

With guidance from our professional body The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy we have implemented the following measures to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission during face to face appointments.

  • COVID-19 screen of all patients prior to face to face appointment

  • Medical grade PPE worn by clinicians

  • Enhanced cleaning protocols and infection control measures

  • Spacing of appointments to allow time for cleaning and change of PPE

  • Asking patients to wait outside the clinic 2 metres apart until they are called

  • Use of hand sanitiser on entering

  • All patients to attend appointments wearing their own face mask or covering

  • Contactless payments for all sessions

  • Leaving doors and windows open when able for ventilation

please do not attend your appoint if you have developed signs and symptoms of coronavirus. These symptoms are a high temperature, a new continuous cough, a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

To protect our reception team, our reception is closed and phone lines are currently unmanned therefore please book online .

Please look after yourselves and each other during these unprecedented times and continue to follow Public Health England advice.

 From the Motion Physiotherapy Team.
